Originally from Alaska, Joel Sutherland has pastored churches in Tennessee and Pennsylvania. He has a bachelor of arts in theology and a master's in ministry with an emphasis in church leadership and management, both from Southern Adventist University. He believes everybody should be equipped with the tools necessary to fulfill their calling, and he teaches, trains, and empowers people to that end. He currently serves as Ministerial Director for the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference and lives in Nashville with his wife, Chelsea. He enjoys aviation, reading, writing, preaching, photography, and music.
